Police Report: MÖTLEY CRÜE Singer Threw Prostitute Against The Wall
July 30, 2003MTV.com has confirmed RockConfidential.com's report that police in Nevada have issued a warrant for the arrest of MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil for allegedly attacking a prostitute at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch.
As reported here yesterday, the warrant apparently stems from a July 10 incident involving Andrea Terry (a.k.a. Trixxxie Blue),a sex worker at the brothel near Carson City, who accuses Neil of grabbing her around the throat and throwing her against the wall, according to the criminal complaint. Neil faces misdemeanor battery charges and a bail of at least $1,000, according to a Dayton Township court clerk.
If convicted of this latest assault charge, Neil would face a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, according to the Lyon County district attorney's office.
Back in early April, Neil, 42, entered a no contest plea to misdemeanor battery in an assault involving a record producer outside a Sunset Strip nightclub last year. He was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service, pay restitution and go through a booking process, which would place his fingerprints on file with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The charge came from a fight on April 28, 2002, at the Rainbow Bar and Grill in West Hollywood with record producer Michael Schuman. The two men had never met before that night.
Schuman's attorney, Trent Copeland, said Neil came up to Schuman in the club's parking lot and struck him several times in the face. His client fell and broke an elbow when he hit the ground, Copeland said.
